Why choose our protective barriers?

Avoid machine collisions against walls, corners, shelving units, poles and pipes with our range of warehouse protection barriers

Suitable for warehouses, factories, public buildings or office buildings, the range can be used indoors and outdoors. Manufactured from hot-dip galvanized steel for durability, our uprights are also powder coated in RAL 1021 color for added visibility.

The range of warehouse protection barriers have been designed and tested in accordance with standard NF EN 15512: 2009. The standard states that a vertical guard must be placed at the end of each row of shelving between the cross aisles and at the uprights, which are located at the intersections of the aisles and walkways. The uprights of the protective barriers all have a minimum height of 400 mm and dynamic tests have been carried out to ensure a minimum energy absorption of 400 Nm.

Finally, verge safety barriers are modular systems, which makes them economical, easy to install and to replace in the event of permanent damage. This means you can install or remove barriers with virtually no disruption to your operations.

The standard states that appropriate safety measures must be in place to prevent damage from forklifts or other equipment moving against the rack posts. Of course, accidents can and do happen. the standard suggests the inclusion of vertical protections:

- A protective barrier with a minimum height of 400 mm must be placed at the right end of each row of shelving between the aisles.

- A protective barrier must be placed at these studs at all intersections of walkways and walkways.

- A protective barrier must absorb an energy of at least 400 Nm in all directions, at any height between 0.10 m and 0.40 m.

- A protective barrier must be positioned so that, after its deformation by absorption of an impact, the upright is not damaged.

- Rack protection can be designed theoretically; otherwise, testing must be performed for acceptance. The tests must relate to a mass dropped or tilted in the protector in order to model the energy absorption requirement of 400 Nm.

Flexible yet highly resilient verge safety guards and rack protectors provide a safe barrier and superior resistance against damage from fork lift trucks, transport vehicles and other commonly found hazards inside and outside the workplace and warehouse.

verge safety barriers protect your staff and can save logistics industries and warehouse storage companies thousands in costly damage repairs to premises and pallet rack structures.
